Our life is our business.

Our life is our business, yet we are not taught to "check(s) and balance" our emotional and physical well being.
We are told we should balance our budget and calculate our networth.
But we are not taught to identify our personal value and list the skills we have that could be potential income adding to the networth and boosting the family income.
Financial managers would encourage to build an emergency fund. But no one teaches us to build relationships for times when we hit rock bottom and we need an emergency emotional boost before a bankrupting meltdown.
Finally, we are not taught to create a budget for our time.
Time is a high commodity, that if wasted it does not have a return on investment.
Therefore, budget your time and carefully choose who and what you will invest it on.
